The standings

The leaderboard is waiting

Points go on the board as soon as the first sanctioned event's results are verified. Race one and you could be the first name on it.

How it works

Every sanctioned race counts

  1. 01

    Race a sanctioned event

Clubs host events approved by AUFPV. Bigger events sit in a higher tier and are worth more points.

  2. 02

    One board, every class

Open Class, Pro Spec, X-Class and Tiny Whoop all score on the same standings. Race two classes and both count.

  3. 03

    No dropped rounds

Your season total is every point you score. Race as many sanctioned events as you like.

  4. 04

    Decided at the Nationals

The Australian Drone Nationals closes the season at triple points. A Nationals win is worth 150.

Tiers and points

Bigger races, bigger points

An event's tier depends on how many pilots compete, counted once across every class. Your points are the base points for your finishing position, multiplied by the tier and rounded to a whole number.

For pilots

Make sure your results count

There's nothing to enter. Race a sanctioned event and you score, as long as these are in place before race day.

The competitor guide
  • An AUFPV accountYour results are linked to it, so your points follow you from event to event.
  • A current club membershipAt an AUFPV affiliated club on the day, recorded on the platform. Check it on your account page.
  • Register through the platformSo your result is linked to you on the day. If it isn't, it's kept and your points are added once it's matched.
  • The same pilot name every timeSo every result lands on one line of the leaderboard.
For clubs

Host a sanctioned event

Bring pilots from across the country to your track. Any AUFPV affiliated club can apply, from a monthly club race to a major event. Apply at least two weeks ahead from your club admin under Championships → Apply for sanctioning; the organiser guide there covers each tier's standards and how to submit results.
